hi friends,
Well since we are here almost vietnamese who are using/studying Eng. as a second language. So you guys during your study life, we are surely used to get some mistakes those could make you remember for a long time (good way to study things though lolz). Then I would like to creat a topic here hope for we could share our study experiences via our pieces of funny real-life stories. Ok, here we go :D

When I was doing my essay, there was a word that I used to start the paragraph - it was "In addition". Ok, I finished the essay then gave it to my lecturer with a confident face lolz... Some days later, the lecturer gave back the essays to my class and he told every one in my class what the good points and also the weak points in each essay. And... in my turn, he was looking at my essay and then he asked me with a funny face "Are you addiction Kenny?"... still I couldnt understand what he was talking about ^^ [sounds in my head were like "WTH are u talking 'bout sir" lolz] Ok, I re-read my essay and saw my word was red circled. It was "In addiction" lolz... I wanted to jump down into the ground lolz...

Ok you guys plz tell me your stories :sr:

I like this idea a lot :D Yesterday, I realized that the word "during" is not spoken as [diʊərɪŋ] as I used to do, but [djʊərɪŋ] - I mean, it's should be pronounced like "juring" :D This applies to other words start with "du" as well: duel, dude, duplicate, etc. :D
