The one that we have to take to enroll into college.

CPT also known as college placement test .

SAT and ACT are national tests.

So you need to take one of them to get into the college

the most common placement test include writing, reading, and Math. Some college also have additional subject to their placement test. For example, when I get to college I had to take Math, Chemistry, English in order to entrance science major. For me, the most difficult part for Vietnamese student is Reading. It is not a test that you guy can fail or pass, just a test to determine your academic level. Don't worry too much a bout that. If you don't do well, you should join a class to make up your knowledge, and I think it is really good. However, being prepare and do well will make your future study a lot faster.
