What's an interesting topic, I'm one of last members of 8x family and that's the reason why I realized teenager nowadays is much different with 5 years ago.

In my opinion, many of them are, as you said, depraved and be influenced by the crowd. Girls dream of Korean film, boy muster to gangs, they're all more sexual and violent. They act as adult, but what they're lack of is maturity.

However, it's undeniable that there are more and more talented teenager nowadays. They makes adult surprised because of their works. When I access some website of teener like kenh14, I found some one who became CEO when they're 18, or hold events that attract thousands of people. Teenagers could become rapper, dancer, or anything they like, because they have a really strong personality. People like that, I think I really admire. :)
