my boring birthday!

I was so excited about my coming birthday. I was dreaming, trying to picture how it would be and smiled alone because of those “silly never come true thoughts”. I was waiting for something happen, I was waiting. Not a party with friends, not “Lucy, happy your 17th birthday, you look amazing tonight”, not big and fantastic presents from them, no it’s not what I’ve been expecting.
I woke up at 12:00am in the morning, the 1st moment of the day I was born, staring at the phone. “Why it’s silent, come one man, ring…make some stone sounds, it can be message, it can be voice mail, it doesn’t have to be an upcoming phone…whatever it’s”,
An hour… 2 hours…6 hours, passed, but it was so stubborn, kept being silent, kept sleeping while my tears already woke up. “I’m sorry, I can’t wait any longer, and I have to go to school”. Well, it’s ok; maybe tonight. The day ended as usual. I came back home with presents and cakes from friends, they all covered my face. “You make things sound so crazy…” (My ring tone!!)
“Hello?”
“Hey Lucy, this is Laura, are you coming to the game with me?”……
“You make things…”>>>> “hello?”
“Hey girl, where are you?”
“Oh…Sharlotte? I’m at the game….”
…..I came home at about 9:12pm, started my homework. “Oh, (yawning) its 11, I should sleep; maybe he’ll call me tomorrow”.
“You make things…”
Oh my God… “Hello?” (saying with a little nervous, a little happy…)
“Hey honey, happy birthday, I’m sorry I call you so late, because I just want to be the first person who says happy birthday to you…I love you”
“But…but I birthday was yesterday”
“Sarah, I can never forget your birthday, honey”
“Er…Sarah?, WRONG NUMBER”
I wished I didn’t say that. I just want to borrow that guy for 5 minutes, to listen to his sweet words. That girl must be so happy to have him, to have somebody she loves, call her in the middle of the night just to say “honey, happy birthday, I love you.”

well..it's understandable, coz if u didnt actually, at least once, have a real birthday celebration, u wouldnt be able to feel how wonderful it was...to me...my b-d is important, especially this time, a turning point to me...

haha 17 is a turning point for you already, i thought it's supposed to be 18. At 18, you can go to club, you can move out to live on your own if you want to...but you are not allowed to drink yet. What's special about 17? I don't know 'cause I ain't a girl and never had a birthday celebration before. I guess birthday is important to everyone. It's just how each of us celebrate our birthday in different ways.

kaka have you been to a club before MSB? You don't need to be 21 to go to a club. You need to be 21 to be allowed in a strip club. There is a difference between the two clubs I just mention, so again if you're 18 now MSB you can go clubbing. No need to wait till 21:)

you know wat special about it s? its the last of everything....last year of high school, last year i enjoy my fun time and then enter the busy life in college, last year i can depend on family,...i dont know about u guys, but it's my feeling rite now

By the way, college is fun too, so it's your last year to have "high school" fun, but it's time to think of "college" fun:) kaka so you won't depend on your family when you go to college. actually, we've not talked since, he's not called or even texted msg. i was waiting, u know. I dont need him to explain anything, the only thing i expected was he would call me, say that he was sorry and just....just...say "happy birthday late"...i wouldnt mind, but he didnt and i dont think he would....
